Sunrise credit services3/14/2023 To date I have not received any validation of debt nor any further requests to pay $18.00. I also googled and found a lot of posts regarding this company and their deceptive practices regarding unordered magazine subcriptions. I requested their license and registered agent numbers, a verification that the statue of limitations has not expired, a letter of sale from the original creditor to Sunrise Credit Service giving them the right to collect the alleged debt, verification that Sunrise can legally collect in my state. The return receipt was received by Sunrise Credit Services on February 3, 2012. I mailed a certified letter with a return receipt requesting a validation of debt to the physical address. I googled the company found their physical address. They provided their email address but no return mailing address. She told me that the case had been recalled and couldn't give me any. I needed to know about some issues in an account I had in October 2021. Tried speaking with a representative and the female on the phone was very unprofessional and extremely rude. Sunrise Credit Service requested that I email an explanation to them as to why I did not pay for the subscription. Sunrise Credit Services - Unprofessionalism and not following through. I never ordered any magazine subscription from anyone. The letter explained that I owed $18.00 for a magazine subscription and that Sunrise was hired by Hearst Publishing to collect the debt. Also make sure they do a PFD.Ĭopyright ©2001- Fair Isaac Corporation. My suggestion take care of it before they take you to court. It is called PFD ( Pay for Delete) You can search this forum and you'll find what PFD is. Also make sure they do completely delete of the Collection from your Report after the payment is made. If you dont have all the cash ask them to give you installment plan for the settled amount. My suggestion make a settlement and pay it. If the debt is dated 2019 depending on the state you live in, you are still in SOL and they can take you to court. Has anyone ever heard of this? And If I settle for less will it scare my current creditors, as well as future creditors? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. They stated that any of the three options that they gave me to settle the debt will be accepted as full satisfaction of the debt. The language of the letter is like nothing I have ever seen. I read that if you settle it's still deragatory on your CBR. I want to settle this debt and I don't want it to keep reporting. They state that they are collecting on a account from OneMain Financial. The account from OneMain Financial was charged off May 31, 2019. I received a settlement letter from Sunrise Credit Services, Inc. Can someone please advise me on how to handle this?
